Saturday was spent...
... watching Mr and Mrs Smith! This is definitely one of the nicest movies I have caught in a long time! Watched it at Jubilee with W. This is a perfect heartland location if you want to beat the town crowd. Jubilee AMK is even more "heartland" than Bishan J8, which in recent years, has become so like town. I call it it the Orchard Road of the heartland. I have experienced trying to buy tickets but were sold out for the slots I want on several instances and my next best alternative? Jubilee, which is only a convenient 2-bus stops away!
Right, back to the movie. Yes, critics can argue that the plot is a little far fetched.. What is your take on a routine "couple quarrel" consisting of machine guns, explosions, grenades, shattered glass... *you get the drift* ? Kua zhang. Definitely.
BUT, the oozling chemistry between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie more than makes up for the odd and sometimes-exaggerated storyline! No wonder Brad Pitt won the "Sexiest Men Alive" award not once, but twice. And Angelina... she has such a great bod that turns me green with envy! :p
Not going to divulge more about the plot, as if you can't find out from the plethora of movie reviews from so many sources.. A definite must-watch!
