Hello! Everything on Blogger looks fine at the moment.. keeping my fingers crossed that everything will run smoothly till the time I publish my post..

Was out the whole of yesterday. Yay! I love this kind of time spent.. every minute is spent in a worthwhile manner.

Went to Swissotel with Grandma in the morning to attend some relatives' wedding. The reception was held on the 69th floor. The scenery from the top was absolutely breathtaking! It probably sounds so cliche, but it is true that the vehicles and the buildings look like a sophisticated Lego set!

The food was good, and I got a first hand experience of fine dining. Even tried raw oysters!

Left around 2pm.. I was feeling so bored there coz I didn't know many people there. They were all relatives that I don't even see during Chinese New Year!

Walked to Funan Centre coz I was still hoping I could sneak in a haircut session before meeting my friends at Orchard. Forget it! Everything would take like more than an hour..

Met W, S, H, D, J and his girlfriend, M, at Party World Orchard. Have seen D and J around in school but never knew their names. Well, I do now!

Left around 6pm to have steamboat at Marina South. The typical driver, W took more than half and hour to reach the place! We seemed to be making a lot of unnecessary turns everywhere!

We ate and talked a lot. It was defintely a good way to know more about a person. I enjoyed myself more at the dinner, to be frank. Probably coz there was lots more interaction? Perhaps.

Left around 8.30, and as usual.. there were a couple of wrong decisions that nearly landed us nowhere! Haha!

Well, definitely enjoyed myself and looking forward to meeting up with them another time!

Is it the correct decision?

Hello!

Haven't been updating myself here.. coz there's something wrong with the HTML in my PC..

Today's the start of the bidding system .. Round 0 and I sort of made a decision last night about my future...

I would be doing double major.. in finance and marketing.

Well, it will enhance my qualifications, that's for sure.. But come to think of it, why did I decide so suddenly? I would have to admit that this is because most of my friends are doing it.. either honours or double major.. So it is a go with the crowd?

But I guess the main reason why I finally decided today is because I got a confirmation.. that he's doing honours.. and I was real glad to have chatted with him online just! So I would be able to see him for three more semesters! And perhaps attend the same commencement ceremony with him! How's that?

And I was so grateful that I got the assurance from my parents last night that money won't be a problem..

So I am all set to begin the next 3 semesters of my life in NUS! Wish me luck!

Bitter thoughts of Euro 2004

Euro 2004 is finally over. And what an end! The Greeks are the champions of Europe! To the whole country, it is a fairytale come true. From underdogs to top dogs! Actually wanted to do a short writeup on all the teams of Euro. But heck, it's too much of a bother! ;p

But I just hate them! Their win just leaves a sour taste in my mouth! Their way of play just sux big time! Tight defending, few shots at goal, incessant fouling. Tell me, how does this make a great soccer team? However, I would have to admit that once they have a shot at goal, it always goes in! The exact scenario this morning! Their tight defending always succeeds in frustrating opponents, just like they did again this morning against Portugal. But I was so pissed with Portugal too. It seems that when nothing is going right for you, players start to fall just when they approach goal, or blasts the shot way off target!

Well, whatever it is, congrats to Greece for winning the championship but they better treasure it coz they only have 4 years to hold on to the trophy. World Cup? Forget about it! No way..

Rotting away..

Just rotting away.. Always feels this way during the hols! So fed up with not getting a job.. Whatever! But my driving lessons would have to be put on hold.. unless i get some sponsors, which is highly unlikely!

Euro 2004 final tomorrow morning. Looking forward to it, but I hope it would be exciting enough to not make me fall asleep! The match better be worth the sacrifice of my beauty sleep!

This Euro tournament is throwing up too many unexpected and shocking results. Remember my previous prediction of France or Italy to win it? Haha! What a joke! The 2 teams left long long time ago..

Tomorrow's game is between such an unexpected combination.. Portugal vs Greece?? Huh? Greece? In any case, this must be one of the biggest upset in Euro history ever!

Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed that there won't be another upset again. If Portugal wins, some lucky guy from Singapore is going to be a cool $82,000 richer.. Whoa!
